Frequently asked questions
Everything families ask us about the TrustLoop parental control app. Can't find your answer? Contact us.
Is using TrustLoop legal?
TrustLoop is designed for parents and legal guardians to use with their own minor children, which is legal in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. Because laws vary, we always recommend checking the regulations in your country. TrustLoop only works when it is visible and disclosed — it is not designed for monitoring anyone who has not been informed.
Does my kid know TrustLoop is installed?
Yes, always. TrustLoop keeps a visible, transparent icon on your child’s device at all times. Your child can open the app and see exactly the same settings and limits that you see. There is no concealed mode and no secret dashboard.
What data do you collect?
We practice minimal data collection. TrustLoop does not read or store message content, browsing history, or call logs. We collect only the metadata needed for the features you enable — for example, arrival times for a geofence or app usage minutes for screen time limits. We never sell data, and location is shared only between members of your family.
Does TrustLoop work on Android?
Android is our first launch platform. TrustLoop will support current and recent versions of Android; exact minimum version requirements will be published before launch.
Does TrustLoop work on iOS?
Yes, TrustLoop is planned for iOS. Apple places some technical limits on what any parental control app can do on iOS, so a few features may differ slightly between platforms. We will publish a full platform comparison before launch.
How much does TrustLoop cost?
There will be a free plan, plus Family and Family Plus tiers. Pricing will be announced at launch — join the waitlist to be notified first. There are no charges of any kind before launch.
What is your refund policy?
Once TrustLoop launches, paid subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, contact our support team within the refund window and we will make it right. Full refund terms will be published at launch.
Can I use TrustLoop on multiple devices?
Yes. The Free plan covers one child device, the Family plan covers up to five, and Family Plus covers up to ten. Parents can manage everything from their own phone or tablet.
How do I delete my account and my data?
You can request account deletion at any time from the app settings or by emailing us. When your account is deleted, your data is removed from our active systems, subject to any legal retention requirements. Our privacy policy explains this in detail.
How do I contact support?
Email us any time at support@trustloop.toolsxsi.com. Waitlist members and early subscribers will also get access to priority support channels before launch.
